Leadership change at InCEES

Himadri B. Pakrasi, founding director of the International Center for Energy, Environment and Sustainability (InCEES) and the inaugural Myron and Sonya Glassberg/Albert and Blanche Greensfelder Distinguished University Professor at Washington University in St. Louis, has announced that he will be stepping down as director of InCEES at the end of the 2019-2020 academic year.

Pakrasi, a world-renown biochemist recognized for his work on photosynthesis and bioenergy production, has served as director of InCEES since its founding in 2007.

David Fike, InCEES Professor, Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences, associate director of InCEES, and director of the Environmental Studies Program, will serve as interim director.
