The Albert P. and Blanche Y. Greensfelder Forum honors alumni and friends committed to addressing the global challenges of energy, environment and sustainability who create positive change for people around the globe.  Honorees have obtained distinction in their professional or academic careers and share the same characteristics of leadership, progressive thinking, high standards, uncompromising integrity, commitment, courage, and confidence. Their careers serve as models for Washington University students and alumni.

The first ever awards forum took place on September 28, 2018. The honorees included:

In addition to the award ceremony, InCEES hosted a gathering called “Reflections on Climate Change” featuring Christiana Figueres, former United Nations executive secretary who led negotiations for the Paris climate agreement in 2015; Michael Brune, executive director of the Sierra Club; and Jeff Seale, agricultural environmental strategy lead and associate science fellow at Bayer Crop Science.
