David Fike

Director of InCEES; InCEES Professor, Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences; Director, Environmental Studies Program

Professor David Fike was named the Director of InCEES in 2021, and is also an InCEES professor. Professor Fike advances the InCEES mission with special emphasis on research work related to various environmental issues.  Additionally, he is committed to strengthening connections with students, stakeholders, and partner organizations on and off campus.

Fike is a professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences in Arts & Sciences, and director of the Environmental Studies Program. His research interests include the detailed working of global biogeochemical cycles, their evolution over Earth history, and their impact on biological evolution.
